Working Groups

This group is responsible to promote the adoption of the new AGS Data Format (Edition 4) for the transfer of all geotechnical and geoenvironmental data in the HK by electronic means. The industry will be benefited by using the AGS Format as the single standard to use for data transfer. Also, the AGS data plays an important role of geotechnical and geoenvironmental data management as part of the Building Information Modelling (BIM) process. These will facilitate the direct incorporation of AGS data and further integration with other information into BIM softwares.

This group will hold regular review meetings with users and maintain the format to meet current requirements and suggest updates of the AGS Data Format (Edition 4) to AGS UK, from HK experiences.  The group will also promote and organize learning activities of AGS data format and BIM.
