I would like to express my sincere gratitude for being selected as one of the awardees of the AGS (HK) Scholarship. As a final-year student studying civil engineering at HKUST, it is an honor to be recognized for my academic achievements. I am deeply thankful for AGS (HK)’s support and commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. 

As a future engineer, I am dedicated to enhancing the living environment in Hong Kong and improving the well-being of its citizens. This scholarship not only acknowledges my academic achievement but also serves as a powerful encouragement for me to further pursue a career in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. By participating in infrastructure development and assisting in foundation design, I am eager to apply my expertise and engineering knowledge to tackle numerous challenges faced by our city. I am committed to contributing to the local community through my future work while proposing innovative and sustainable solutions in the construction industry. 

Beyond supporting my career goals, the scholarship has strengthened my determination to pursue lifelong learning and professional development in the geotechnical and geoenvironmental fields. It alleviates my financial burden and enables me to pursue a master’s degree in civil engineering.
