About

Synopsis:

Testing the structural integrity of concrete cast in a drilled excavation is currently tested by pulse echo, cross hole sonic logging or thermal methods. Recent updates to the cross hole sonic logging method have helped to minimize time spent on site collecting data. Similarly, a white paper organized by the Deep Foundations Institute and authored by a group of practitioners, test equipment manufacturers and contractors has reconsidered ways to interpret and act on the test results. These advances will be described in case histories from several job sites.
