Synopsis

The presentation will introduce improvement to design of deep mixing and associated woks, a new constitutive model capturing nonlinear small strain stiffness and brittleness of binder stabilised soils in Hong Kong, and smart assessment of reclamation settlements. The  advancements have been validated by laboratory and field data. Their applications and benefits  will be discussed.
