Highlights :
The Tseung Kwan O - Lam Tin Tunnel (TKO-LTT) is a new trunk road linking Tseung Kwan O and the urban area, with a total length of about 3.8 kilometres, of which about 2.2km is in the form of a tunnel. It connects the Cross Bay Link, Tseung Kwan O (CBL) and Po Shun Road in the east, and the Eastern Harbour Crossing, Cha Kwo Ling Road in Kwun Tong and the Trunk Road T2 under construction in the west.
The project comprising the construction of the main tunnel of the TKO-LTT, construction of tunnel portal facilities and ventilation building at TKO, construction of slip roads, branch tunnels, viaducts, Lam Tin Interchange, tunnel portal facilities, ventilation building and administration building at Kwun Tong, and implementation of the associated building, civil, structural, marine, electrical and mechanical, landscaping and environmental protection and mitigation works. In the technical visit, an introduction will be given on the project background, an opportunity to understand the challenges of the TKO-LTT and how the team has overcome the technical and logistic challenges in a densely populated environment. Then it is followed by a site walk to Lam Tin Interchange.
Safety Requirements :
Participants should prepare their own safety gears. All attendees should also hold a valid safety Green Card or HKIE Member Card.

The number of participants is strictly limited. Priority will be given to members of the AGS(HK). The number of attendees will be limited to 25 and the applications will be accepted on a first- come, first-served basis. Successful applicants will be informed about 1 week before the event.
