Highlights

Route 11 (section between Yuen Long and North Lantau) is a strategic highway connecting North West New Territories (NWNT) and urban areas. The objectives of the project are to relieve the traffic congestion on the roads to and from the NWNT and to support the proposed developments in the NWNT. Furthermore, Route 11 can increase the route choice to and from the NWNT and strengthen the resilience of the road network to traffic incident or emergency works.

During the site visit, the presentation for the project background will be provided in the beginning and follows with the site visit focusing on the site operation works.
