AGS(HK) and HKIE (Materials Division) Joint Technical Visit to Castco Testing Centre Ltd

Highlights :

Castco Testing Centre Limited was established in 1986. It started out as a Concrete and Steel Testing Company. In 1990, Castco received the HOKLAS accreditation status. In 2003, Castco Certification Services Limited was established and accredited by HKCAS to provide system as well as product certification. Nowadays, Castco has grown to offer geotechnical, survey, certification, inspection, testing and training services.

The technical visit will involve a brief introduction and followed by visits to the concrete, steel, soil and rock laboratories. This visit will mainly focus on the new technologies adopted by the laboratory, such as the use of the automated arm for handling and testing concrete cube and to learn the Laboratory Information Management System, and etc..

Safety Requirements:

Participants shall have taken 3 jabs of Covid 19 vaccine.
